Before your extension
Find out what your council needs before you plan too much. Some extensions need planning permission and others do not. We help you work out which applies.
Planning a new kitchen
Think about how you move around the kitchen and where the water and power are today. Moving the sink or the cooker is possible, but it takes longer and costs more.
Ventilation and tanking
A good extractor fan keeps condensation and mould down, and a shower or wet room needs tanking under the tiles.

It depends on what you want to build and where. Some extensions can go ahead without it and others need it. We help you find out what applies to your home, and we prepare the drawings if you need to apply.
Who deals with building control?
We do. Building work has to meet the Building Regulations. Where a job needs building control, we arrange the application and the inspections, and when the work is finished, building control issues a completion certificate if the work complies.
How long will the job take?
It depends on the size of the job and the materials you choose. The quote includes a timetable, so you know when we plan to start and finish, and we tell you straight away if anything changes it.
What will it cost?
It depends on the job. We come and look, and then you get a quote with a fixed total price, VAT included, that sets out what it covers. Anything extra is agreed with you in writing first.
